CoD Modern Warfare 2 Beta Maps
As part of the Modern Warfare 2 Beta, players will be able to enjoy several maps, each designed for a particular size.
Sariff BayValderas MuseumFarm 18Mercado Las AlmasBreenbergh Hotel
We’ll go over each one in a little more detail down below.
Sarrif Bay (32 v 32)
One of the bigger maps you’ll find in the Beta, the 32 v 32 Battle Map is actually taken from part of the Warzone 2.0 map, and will send combatants to the Republic’s main port of call, where fisheries and the like will see action on land, sea, and the air. Expect to do plenty of swimming and water combat here.
Valderas Museum (6v6)
Set in Ronda, Spain, this 6v6 map will see the SpecGru go up against the KorTac, duking it out among one of the largest collections of modern cultural artifacts in Spain. Those priceless items probably don’t matter as you shoot to survive, and the open sightlines demand speed or stealth, so be careful where you poke your head out.
Farm 18 (6v6)
A classified location probably means plenty of danger, and that’s where Farm 18 comes in. Once more, the SpecGru are going up against the KorTac, as the hidden training facility becomes a battleground, where traps and tools will come in handy. Should an aerial killstreak be called, get into cover quickly.
Mercado Las Almas (6v6)
Head to Las Almas in Mexico, and you will be able to enjoy Mercado Las Almas with 11 other combatants in a cultural and economic landmark. Fast-paced action is the name of the game here in this tight map, and if you have ground-based traps, effective use can make all the difference.
Breenbergh Hotel (6v6)
The scenic city of Amsterdam is home to the Breenbergh Hotel, where an open-air design and intricate interiors play host to all-out firefights. If you like surprise entrances, consider using the windows for some shock and awe. This is everything you need to know about all the maps in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta. The Call of Duty: Next event also shed more light on other important areas of the game and franchise as a whole, including the inclusion of raids, a new third-person perspective, as well as universal weapon attachments.
