Google Employees: Google Is Working On A Secret Search Engine

Their researches have taken them to the repositories of the code of two applications called Maotai and Longfei, which were designed for the Chinese market in the iOS and Android operating systems, respectively. Looking closely at the code of these apps, employees have warned about 500 changes in the same during the last month of December and about 400 between the months of January and February 2019. Since 2017, they say, that the changes related to these pieces of software have been maintained between 150 and 500 monthly. While some believe that this could mean only some final changes in the face of the final closure of the project, others reaffirms that the work related to the search engine for China is still going on in the offices of the tech giant Google, a fact supported by the presence of about one hundred people staying in the place of the campus to which it is related to the search engine.
