Recently, Google introduced an app which gives parents the freedom to control their kids’ smartphone. Well, Google launched Family Link app which lets you monitor the activities of Android device of your little ones or others. Well, Google says that this app is only meant for parents. However, with the help of this app, you can even monitor your friends Android device. Users can see what apps their kids are downloading from Google Play store and can also restrict them from downloading unsafe apps. Google’s Family Link app also helps parents keep an eye on screen time. Parents can see how much time their kids spend on their favorite app with weekly or monthly activity reports and can even set daily screen time limits for their devices. Parents can also set a particular bedtime in the Family Link app. Let me tell you this feature automatically locks the phone at the set time. So, it simply means that you can control other Android devices with your device. The app also features some other additional things like SafeSearch, managing app permissions, know their kid’s location. This app also let users assign other family members to control their kids’ account. Well, there is also an unfortunate part of this app. Your Kid’s phone must be compatible with Android Nougat 7.0, and right now there are not many devices running on Nougat. For parents, Android Kitkat 4.4 will work. The Family Link apps are only available to US customers right now. However, it will soon roll out in other places across the world.
